I recently had the opportunity to travel to Bilbao, Spain, and it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment I arrived, I was struck by the city’s unique blend of modern architecture and traditional Basque culture. As I explored the city, I discovered a wealth of fascinating museums, delicious food, and friendly locals.

One of the highlights of my trip was visiting the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao, which is widely regarded as one of the most important works of contemporary architecture in the world. The museum’s striking titanium-clad exterior is a work of art in itself, and the exhibits inside are equally impressive. I spent hours wandering through the galleries, admiring works by artists like Jeff Koons and Anish Kapoor.

Another thing I loved about Bilbao was the food. The city is known for its pintxos, a type of Basque tapas that are served in bars throughout the city. Each bar has its own unique selection of pintxos, and it’s a fun way to try lots of different dishes in one evening. I also tried some traditional Basque dishes like bacalao al pil-pil (cod in garlic and olive oil) and txangurro (stuffed crab), which were both delicious.
